well that'd be bloody annoying

so Sky Sports 1 HD is still up around 408 (or summat) too?

why isn't it possible for them just to broadcast both HD and SD on the one channel and those with HD get to see HD for those programmes broadcast in HD and those with SD just see HD broadcast programmes as SD

like with Nicam stereo or Dolby surround or Black and White/Colour tellies?
