well obviously..

I think if someone was to come in with enough dosh to make a real difference while being happy for them to stay in charge they probably would indeed prefer that.

However I think they are realistic enough to know that there is almost no chance of that (anyone putting that amount of dosh in is naturally going to want control, as they themsleves want to retain control of the dosh THEY have put in over the years while it is still there), hence the sell option is their preferred practical choice.
