anyone who knows anything about grassroots football will tell you it takes years to build a team. By having to assemble a squad once you've gained promotion and by having to dismantle it once relegated you are effectively having to start from scratch each season.

we need:

salary caps per player and per club
maximum transfer fee limits across all divisions
an end to agents

won't happen though.
