Football fans need to blame somebody for results going wrong. Blaming the players doesn't work as they leave fairly soon and are replaced by other non performing players. Managers are the first in line but once they are sacked, the next in line is the board. At the moment we've gone through managers, it's now time attention turns to the board. As you say, nobody yet gives a good alternative, (Cullum is NOT the alternative, if he was he'd be in place) and quite often blame is handed out with the great advantage of hindsight.
Nobody yet has proved to me that another board would have done anything so differently and to the extent that we would be challenging for the league this year.
