The difference is...

The board provides the resource for recruitment, whereas people like Roeder and Gunn have to live with what that provision is.

All a new board would have to provide is more money for the playing budget. I'm not going to be naive and say that this is going to guarantee success, but at least it would demonstrate that we are striving toward it.

Currently we're looking at season following season on ever decreasing funds... ie. unsustainable.
