Have to agree.

Not defending him, but I think Roeder realised what was needed and set about trying to get the quality in - Hoolahan, Bell, Clingan and (let's not forget) Stephanovic - all good players of which two are no longer figuring in Mr Gunn's plans. Huckerby's release was wrong (and I'll hold my hand up as at the time I thought OK - time to let him go) and pretty much the rest of the squad aren't as good as we need although Croft and the Doc have got stuck in and probably had their best season for us.

Carney, Gow, Leijer - who knows if they are good enough or not but we're back to the old journeyman bit. Are they going to be really arsed when they get a game?
