The Fozzy thing.

I know people were moaning because the crowd was giving him the business when sub'd off.

But on the other hand by all reports he was poor and the whole "only signing a one year deal" doesn't exactly smack of long term loyalty for a person being the club captain.
Normally this is for players hoping to play their way into a better long term deal the next year.
Not a good idea if you dont think you have the talent.

What do players expect, if they do well they get heaps of praise/adulation, huge pay raises and fat contracts.

I just think that Fozzy is a player who is probably overpaid for his talent level (ala Andy Hughes)

Obviously a lot of clubs in the champs have smaller wage bills than us so that doesn't just apply to Fozzy.

Obviously the table says we are overpaying for the quality we have all over the park.
