but what I think happens now is that *all* we see are player interviews and there is very little else.
Of course it's driven by the web - when pu was published once a week then all the writing could be done - now we demand daily (hourly) updates and so this is the shortcut route.
But it's not news is it? So the pink un could just try to come up with something innovative for its web site - like writing stuff - and keep the player interviews on a less frequent basis. tbh there's not much difference between lee croft saying that they're not talking about relegation and David Lee rewriting the radio commentary - it's not news.
For all we take the micky out of waggers at least there is some opinion that isn't footballers' cliche xi.
