but I'm fairly certain that you are allowed to give up your giving up on Sundays. If you count 40 days from Ash Wednesday you end up on Palm Sunday - so think you break your fast each Sunday up to easter.
So bad game Saturday, start drinking at 1 minute past midnight Sunday.
