I love the pomp and pomposity, I'm a fan of the over the top

ludicrous musical numbers and the funny fashion. The only thing that winds me up and when I say "winds me up" I mean annoys the f**k out of me is the reaction by the Brittish press every year to any connection to britain winning an oscar. It's not a f**king competion. Nationality is not important. You don't hear the nominees read out along with their nationality. You can bet your bottom dollar that Americans don't go on about how well the Americans have done. It's just embarrasing it makes us look like we're punching above our weight. Little ol' blighty done good again.
