So do you think they are good supporters for doing it?
The money thing doesnt play for me at all i'm afraid. They hasve the money through luck. If they were footballers 60 years ago, they would be on the same wage as you or I.
Them having money doesnt make them superhuman, immune to criticism. Before the game, I heard Jerry Goss and Darren Eadie speak at length, and passionately, about how it affects players at all levels, at all clubs (not just the 'poor flowers' at our weak, poor, doomed club).
I DO think the money is a problem in supporters eyes, however, they EXPECT these detached, rich, spoilt boys to be able to play better as a result of getting paid 8k per week - as it just doesnt tally with the graft we have to put in every day in our own jobs for a mere fraction of what they earn). performance doesnt increases proportionately with wage. agains the Real World, only in the footballers bubble and league structure
