nightmare that was.

Ran it aground once (IJsselmeer isn't deep everywhere), then almost capsized it trying to keep the keel off the sand, then came within a few feet of broadsiding a fishing boat full of tourists doing the fun glass of wine style "sailing", and finally the gearing jammed in the harbour and we crashed it against the jetty causing a fair old bit of damage.

300k worth of yacht. Owner was not happy (they had a race the next day)
