It's ludicrous

it's a bit of a comfort blanket really - keep doing it and ooh I can still see us staying up. What tends not to happen is having a team go on a good run, or a team on a decline and fall. And you tend to focus on a few clubs that are close in and then miss out on the fact you've created a new trend of your own (as I tried to make some of the teams around us win, I managed to send Palace into a total downward spiral)
