I know this is probalby simplistic, but here is the problem with politics

When the political system is attracting the sort of person that believes they have done nothing wrong by bending the rules in order to claim this sort of expense, you kow you have a problem.

Seriously, she may be within the rules, but she'd declaring her sisters home as her main residence, depsite owning another proprty that her family lives in.

Not only should this not be allowed, she should not even be thinking about doing something like this.

It'll never happen of course, but politics should be a field for people who believe in what they are doing.
Its not something that should be entered for financial gain.

Of course the flip side of that is always that talented people would stay away as they could earn more in commercial roles.
However, i remain to be convinced that the level of financial reward available to those that 'make it' in politics is attracting talent over greed.
