Anyone think that actually we're just a by-product of modern football?

Look at the teams struggling around us, and a few in the division below.

Pattern seems to be:

- spend four or five years building team
- go up into Prem
- replace most of champ team with higher paid players in an attempt to stay up
- sell now disgruntled champ players
- go straight down
- start s**te next season in champ because higher paid players want to be back in prem.
- sell wannabe prem players
- left with s**te.
- parachute payments stop
- f**ked

Anyone else think that's a wave that no board could ever battle against, or am I being too soft?
