I think it is mostly a confidence issue - I can't accept that these players are not taught basic pass and move tactics. I just feel that they're so scared of messing up that they aren't willing to try anything remotely adventurous.
I think the biggest problem has been central midfield (which Roeder tried to adress). They just seem to do their job and then think 'that's it'. When our full-backs get the ball they should have at least two or three options and not just a diagonal hoof to Cureton (the amount of times this happens really bends my head up).
But as i said, i think it's mostly confidence. Oh, and apart from Semi, we've got no pace
