If we go down

We need to get back up ASAP. Try and do a Leicester if we can; Nigel Pearson bought in a few young players during the summer and I think one or two of them came from the Blue Square Premiership. At least by bringing in players that want to improve, have a point to prove etc he is going someway towards that feeling of "having our club back".

Worst case scenario, and is this based on the current state the club is in, would be that we do a Sheffield Wednesday. I can't see things being bad enough that we do a Leeds. If our first season in League One is a major transitional one where there is a major clear-out etc and we finish mid-table, followed by promotion in the second season I'd take it. I don't want to say this but we'd probably feel all the more better for it.

In regards to our manager next season, if Plymouth sack Paul Sturrock (which they probably will) and we are a League One club, he should be our top manager target. Why? he's knows that league inside out and has got two teams promoted from it. both on a limited budget. Wouldn't mind seeing Martin Ling in charge as well. Whichever league we are in, the Norwich job probably won't be one a rooky - as we found out with Peter Grant.
