We needed a CB and our deal for him fell through, then Pulis said he won't be available due to injuries.

We needed someone in with Doc's red card, and Grounds recal option so in comes Shackell.

As it turns out, injuries at Stoke are not so bad so Pulis can spare him.
However, we've spent what was allocated on Shackell now, so do we need/afford to bring in someone else?

Oh and maybe the lad fancied an hours drive to Play for Preston from home, rather than 3 months in Dunston Hall.
