I can't understand Man City's attitude to Evans, also Sturridge and now Joe Hart.
Wouldn't even the most egotistical club owner want his club to be built on a successful youth policy, and with players that, by definition (you would think) want to play for the club and can identify more readily with it and English football in general?
Hart looks set to move on-no doubt, if he does progress, they'll then want to buy him back in two-three years-they have stalled on the contract for Sturridge (who Chelsea, apparantly, are interested in), whilst Evans, a massive talent and prospect looks certain to be on his way.
Baffling.
