Hardcore porn was legalised in the 70s

So it became a bit of a mecca for porn producers. I was walking along Istedgade to a mate's place when a camera flash high up in a hotel window caught my eye - I looked up to see a very bright light shining, and several camera flashes and a young gentleman wearing only a robe and leaning out of the window having a cigarette - I don't think they were shooting the latest Lars Von Trier (although thinking of The Idiots, I wouldn't be too sure about that)

I don't know about the rental stats; but I have noticed hardcore DVDs for sale in my local off-licence.
