In my mind, blaming referees for losses is very counter productive. If you give players excuses for weak performances what is their incentive to improve? No referee is going to get all decisions correct just like no player plays a perfect match. As a manager I think I would have focused on the fact that we were not good enough yesterday. The goal is for the players to improve not the referee. Blaming a referee for your lack of quality does nothing to improve performance and results. In fact, I think it inhibits it. People couldn't stand that Roeder constantly blamed referees. Let's apply the same to Mister Gunn.
