i've got a few things slowing me down a bit

AUBrowser keeps coming up every day, no idea what it is, some thing called Spyware Doctor does a scan every day even though I don't remember putting it on my comp. Who are these people putting these virus thingys on computers? Are they the people who sell the anti virus stuff in the first place?
