I once saw an interview with a guy who played linebacker in the NFL for years. He

said in his final college year he was ranked about 5th of a group of 6 friends who all had a chance of being drafted into the NFL.

Although black, they were ALL from a middle class background but decided to do an armed robbery simply for the thrill, assuming they would get away with it. They didn't need the cash, and it wasn't even a lot of money they stole. Anyway, the guy being interviewed decided not to risk it. The other 5 got caught and are still inside serving 25-year jail sentences while he is taking home millions.

And he still says he was tempted by the idea at the time.
