I think he means that he had to say something about it as it was so public, but what he

did say (i.e. its all fine) was much better than the likley rant and dropping we'd have got from Roeder.

ALthough, Wes didn't play last night so may well have been dropped as a result, but because of how Gunn handled it that hasn't been mentioned at all........
