muppets. I'll bet the person who nmade the complaint reads the Guardian, votes "Nu" Labour and thinks Risk Assessments for everything is the greatest idea since sliced bread. It's a perfectly normal expression in everyday colloquial useage to say "X.... looks like...." or "reminds me of ........" .
