Firefox dies on me quite frequently and I have Windows

Firewall (I thought they bought Zonealarm) and AVG freebie.
Seems to die when it is still loading and I try to scroll but generally seems a bit flaky. Still better than IE though.
Bizarrely, Firefox wont run BBC iPlayer for me - it crashes every time so I have to use IE for that.
