He's got to take some flak. Before he was PM he was sort of in charge of the economy

I didn't take a genuis to see that eventually the constant racking up of incredulous amounts of credit was going to a bit wrong.

Perhaps, maybe, he could have seen this coming and done something then?

That isn't of course just his failing, as I don't see anyone would have either seen this or acted at the time.

I would like to see somebody somewhere realise where this crisis really came from, and state that they will be taking measures to make sure it doesn't happen again, and that the british (and world) economy is controlled by governments not banks and stock brokers.

Just my two'penneth for what its worth.
