...any of the Trojan comp albums are good and easily available...maybe go Lee Scratch a little further down the line as the dub stuff can be a little hard to handle if you're just getting in to it...also, get yourself some ska - two tone absolutely fine as a starting point if that floats your boat - and you'll soon find yourself looking towards the original ska and rock steady artists...
