Premier League relegation battle - incredible this season ?

Just looked at the table. One game from now any of the bottom 5 could be rock bottom, and even Spurs in 13th are only 3 points from the bottom of the table.

Incredible that there are only 7 points between last place and Man City in 9th (although they do have 1 game in hand) !

We'd all love to be comfortably mid-table in the Prem, but it seems that applies only to Wigan and West Ham. All the rest are either chasing European spots (top 6) or threatened with relegation, even after 22 or 23 games.

That's a bit of a negative division, don't you think ?!
