but it has always been that way and always will be that way

Everyone's got an opinion, everyone thinks they are right and fans will always criticise the manager when the team does badly. It's not going to change I'm afraid. The only thing the manager can do to stop it becoming important is not get on a long losing run and not say things that will upset fans. Not easy but has to be done.
