but you don't need a player of Ashton's quality to get promoted from this division.

Ashton's real value to us will only come if and when we get promoted. You need to great striker in the Premiership to stand a chance of staying up.

This is much the same as a few years ago when we had Bellamy. One great player does not make a great team and Bellamy's talent was wasted in our side.
