I don't regret Roeder

being made manager. He kept us up and was ruthless in clearing out the dross. I hope that in the next few days the work that had been done to identify and strengthen the squad under Roeder will now go ahead under Gunny. I do not disagree with many of the players that Roeder brought in but clearly confidence had gone. The Boards position is very difficult, the talent of the players is there, it needs fine tuning rather than " a new broom" which i fear would have happened under Ince or Boothroyd.
