I've recently switched from AVG to Avast

because AVG's latest version was slowing me down terribly: it'd become vast, even offering a grading for all suggested websites on a Google search. I guess if you've a faster pooter than mine you might have no probs with this.

Avast seems fine, tho' it snags at IEa bit, so I've switched back to Firefox and all is groovy again.

My daughter uses Avira and says she's had no problies.

If you want to know why you should avoid Norton, Google something along the lines of "How the hell do I get Norton of this sodding computer????"
