I think a manager can get away with a lot, the fact that he got up people's noses

hastened his departure...maybe if he had put on a nicer front he would have lasted a few games more perhaps even won a few changed people's minds. Bad results will do for you in the end but if you appear nice people will give you longer to turn it around.
