Well it looks to me

like EVERY manager we have had for more than 50 years who has had relevant experience has been a disaster - from Parker to Roeder. Some of the others have been disasters to (there's one just four you) but as far as I can see either there is no correlation between experience and success, or there is an inverse one.

The key to me is simply to find someone who gels with this group of players. It's not much to go on, but yesterday does suggest that Gunny might be that. Someone posted yesterday that he wanted us particularly to win for Gunny, and on a personal level Gunny simply is the sort of bloke that people want to do well. Who really cares if the likes of Rioch and Worthington are succesful or not. And no-one likes Roeder.
