Ron Saunders had a few months experience managing at this level.
Bondy had never managed higher than 3rd division
Brown had always been a number 2
Stringer had never managed a first team
Walker had never managed higher than 4th Division
Worthy had never managed higher than 3rd division
Rioch and Roeder had bags of experience.
