Sarah Connor Chronicles is my download preference

Not British but surprisingly good after the awful 3rd Terminator film.

Should be more than enough episodes to keep you amused until second season continues in February.

My second choice would be the new Knight Rider series. I didn't hold out much hope for it but I'm quite enjoying it.

The feature length pilot episode/film even has a cameo from the Hoff.
