Given that context he has done a good job in the transfer market.
Also the fact we are down to 1 real CB who started the season as 3rd/4th choice is probably a reason we are shipping too many soft goals while generally playing well.
GR has had bad luck with injuries without a doubt.
People cant complain about some poor loan signings and then forget about his good loans and great signings like Clingan.
It has to be balanced.
We have shown in bursts that we can compete in this division.
But frankly we are roughly where we deserve to be.
Under Grant we deserved to be relegated IMHO.
Under GR we don't deserve to be relegated IMHO.
I think the areas you would have more agreement in busting GR chops are his strange tactics and substitutions.
His man mangement and PR are pretty bad.
We were in such bad shape last year we needed a bastard to come in and shake everything up.
But as I stated earlier, why would a manager who is pretty good in every single area come to Norwich when there are better oppotunities elsewhere.
Is GR a great manager? IMHO .......No.
Is he the best we can realistically expect given our position?....... probably yes.
