The woolies thing is quite sad really.

Suppose it doesn't matter as much (except to the staff) in the bigger places, but woolies had stores in a lot of small towns.

I grew up in beccles for example, and that town centre is (or was anyway) Woolies and boots basically.
The rest is either local shops or smaller chains (plus a goof store thats changed hands a few times).

Wooiles used to be the place to go, we'd buy most things in there, music and stuff.
World's changed now though, I doubt many teenagers buy CD's i'd probably have been getting them off i-tunes now.
Still though, it'll leave a bit of a hole in towns like that.
