Marshall - 7, not that much to do but did everything well, including one excellent tip over
Semi - 6, didn't get forward much, caught napping once or twice, but OK
Oma - 7, excellent recovery pace, won most things in the air, very solid
Doc - 8, man of the match, won everything
Drury - 7, solid and dependable as ever, should be first choice left back
Bell - 6, bit disappointing, apart from two or three flashes. Looked off the pace and a bit lightweight
Clingan - 7, quiet first half but controlled the second half and a great pass for the goal
Patty - 6, a few nice touches but faded and taken off
Hoolahan - 7, our most skilful player, played a bit too deep first half but worked very hard and most good things came through him
Croft - 6, quiet first half, worked hard, not really much to report
Lita - 8, worked hard, held the ball up well, totally isolated for much of the match yet came up with a brilliant finish. Worth ?3m of Earnshaw is let alone ?300k.
