The one thing I don't get about the Cullum Approach

The hangup seemed to be the valuation of the club based on the shares. How did those shares get a value of 30 pounds? Aren't shares only worth what someone will pay or am I missing something? Make Delia whole and do the deal. I have to think 20 million is much closer to true value than 56 million. Think Cullum was close to spot on with the offer wheras Delia was way overestimating club value.
