The worst ones I've ever experienced were in th Boat RAce before they ruined it.
When I was 16 I was approached in the publics on Victoria Avenue by a bloke with his old man in his hand.
That's a bit scary at 16. I kicked him in the nuts as hard as I could and ran across Midsummer common. I could still hear him howling from Brunswick Terrace.
