The whole swapping Bell thing....
....The way I see it in the deepest darkest north is that we are likely to lose Bell of Croft come Jan. We are in desperate need of a centre half and Ward could be a good call. Swapping a player for another that you need isn't ideal but when you have no money and few assets it's an option that can be used. The alternative is probably selling Croft, which may fetch c.a. ?1m from wulfs, brum, brom or shef u, this money would then be used to buy a player like Elliot Ward and you'd have to suggest that Coventry would want in the region of a million for him. So the way I see it is that Croft or Bell will go with a centre back coming in and for me the loss of Bell is less than the loss of Croft. But oh well they're just my thoughts.
Puppy watch has been entertaining to day, nearly as much as reading the crap coming out of Chesterfield and Dryolesden re their F.A. Cup match having to be played a 4th time! The conspiracy theories etc are really quite entertaining and the knuckle dragging tosserific nature of both sets of fans make me so much happier about following nodge!
