What harm?

Well to a normal person standing on the pitch might not seem like a problem. But when you get thousands of people in one place surrounding players who can't move ie Alan Smith at leeds, it can all go tits up. And i'm sure the B'Ham players wouldn't have been too pleased at missing out on lifting the cup because they can't physically move.
