Personally I think Wilko gets a bit of a bum rap.

Did well everywhere he went - left Notts County and Sheffield Wednesday in a far better position than when he arrived, won the League with Leeds two seasons after getting them up and made the League Cup final too.

And his Leeds team wasn't quite as dull as people remember it either - he signed McAllister, Cantona, Yeboah, Sharpe and Brolin for them, all of whom were creative, exciting players. (Even if Brolin went fat and rubbish as soon as he got there.)
