The Roeder conundrum
He is obviously a great scout/ director of football material as he has proved he has an eye for decent players and persuading them to come to the fine city (hoolahan, bell, clingan, lita).
However, he cannot motivate a team. This is what a "Manager" should be able to do, get his team to perform to the best of their ability, consistently. Unforunately Glenn cannot do this and IMHO this is all we are lacking. We need someone to "jee" the players up and get them to perform consistently well and not just the odd game.
Perhaps GR should stick to being a director of football....
