Well what I meant was, perm vs loan, that
1) He has something to prove in order to retain employment
2) Is more than one month. I hate one month loans as they rarely get a chance to integrate, and just as they start to gel they go back or even if you keep them it is never certain until the last minute which must rock the boat for the permanent staff
3) Was out of contract so, although obviously I don't know, it's a good bet that it's cheaper than a short-term loan from a Prem club
4) If he turns out to be s**t, we have saved a loan slot
5) Only a half-season deal so if he's s**t we can get rid.
