but if he's got ambitions for Germany, then he needs to start getting involved in the senior team. In france they tend to only consider players who are over 21 for the senior team, and i suppose it works, but if you do that then you have a gap between generations and you have to play the same team in the u21s regularly as it will become your senior team.
