Really should have min. 2 partitions - one for OS and software, one for
data.
And yes, data includes your email (e.g. pst files if you use Outlook).
Saved my hairy arse 18 months ago that did. Had ALL my wedding contacts, agreements and stuff in my email and hadn't backed up for a couple of months. Wife went surfing porn or something and the pooter caught an STD. Boot Sector Virus.
But of course I was able to reinstall Winders on another partition and retrieve my data.
