The worst thing that can happen this season is that we get relegated.
What would this mean for people, other than having to put up with jibes from colleagues from Ipswich?
We'll still have matches every week, we'll have more 'real football' and fewer overpaid primadonnas.
What's more, the board will undoubtedly go and be replaced by someone who sees the potential of NCFC and who hopefully has more money and more sense than the current shambles.
It might take a few years for us to bounce back, but is it worse to accept this than to settle for another ten years of the ambitious prudence of the current regime?
